Evergreen Smoothie

A rich and creamy green smoothie to start your day.


Ingredients:

  • Green kale, raw, washed, chopped- 1 cup , substitute with baby spinach instead

  • Banana- 1 whole

  • Frozen pineapple- 1/2 cup

  • Nut milk of your choice, unsweetened - 1 cup, substitute with orange juice

  • Salt - 1 pinch

  • Almond butter - 1 tsp

  • Water - 1/2 cup (more depending on preference)

  • Maple syrup or agave syrup or honey - 1 tsp

  • Cinnamon, ground- 1 pinch

Steps

  • Blend all the ingredients for 2-3 minutes until silky smooth. Add water if you want consistency to be more liquid.

Helpful Tip:

  • Optional: add a scoop of your favorite protein powder. I use unflavored vegan protein powder, since I don't like the taste of artificial flavor.
